Applause Music Academy is a fast-growing, well-established music school serving the Glendora, Upland and Rancho Cucamonga communities. We are actively expanding to meet increasing student demand and are seeking dedicated music instructors to grow with us. Our academy is known for its supportive, positive work culture and strong administrative support, allowing teachers to focus on what matters most—teaching and inspiring students.
Open Instructor Positions:
We are currently hiring instructors for the following instruments:
Piano
Voice
Guitar
Cello
Violin
Drums
Woodwind & Brass
What We Offer:
A full administrative team that manages scheduling, billing, and communication
A consistent flow of students at one location—no traveling between studios
Optional performance opportunities at our bi-annual recitals
Ongoing guidance and support, including lesson planning and classroom management
A collaborative, growth-oriented environment as part of a rapidly expanding academy
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for responsible, enthusiastic educators who enjoy working with students of all ages and skill levels. Ideal candidates are engaging, reliable, and committed to creating a positive and motivating learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, one-on-one music instruction
Inspire students and foster a long-term love of music
Arrive on time, prepared, and professional for all lessons
Communicate clearly with students and parents regarding progress and goals
Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment
Qualifications
Comfortable teaching children, teens, and adults
Prior teaching experience and/or a music degree preferred
Strong musicianship with the ability to demonstrate technique and musical concepts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for education and student development
Skilled musicians without formal teaching experience may be considered and trained
