We are a mid size Construction company located in Azusa, we specialize in foundation concrete. We currently have 2 immediate openings for experienced Estimators. We If you have 1 plus years of experience working as an Estimator or Project Engineer Assistant we would like to meet you!

Requirements:
Projects and controls construction costs by collecting and studying information; controlling construction costs

ESTIMATORS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Detailing take off / color code Plans, prep initial folder

Digitizing plans on PCMX

Estimate plans on PCMX, prep final proposal for review and send

Build up Library on PCMX

PCMX Training as needed

Be available to complete any estimating task, as and when needed.
Continually review all materials and labor costs that must be used in estimating bids.
Adhere to all established estimating standards and procedures to protect the interests of the Company and seek out opportunities to improve methods, processes, procedures, and suppliers to best benefit the company.
As and when requested, train new employees or other employees in estimating systems.
Submit work or activity reports according to Company policy.
As and when requested by the President or the Supervisor of Admin and Support, review estimated material, supplies, and labor cost.
Maintain good, business-like relations with other trades, suppliers, and clients.
Ensure that all records relating to and flowing through the estimating function, are filed properly and easily accessible only by authorized personnel.
Protect confidential company estimating data, programs, and information, restricting access only to company employees duly authorized by the president.
Train new Estimators as needed
Create a Mini day work schedule showing all task and group accordingly and schedule action require in groups
Additional tasks as assigned by Office Project Manager and /or President

Skills and Qualifications:
Analyzing Information, Developing Budgets, Vendor Relationships, Reporting Skills, Estimating, Decision Making, Teamwork, Documentation Skills, Quality Focus. Experience using AutoCad, bluebeam and excel.
