Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Experience - Greet and engage customers, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. - Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. - Monitor service quality and ensure consistency in customer interactions.
2. Team Leadership - Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, including CAFE ASSOCIATES: baristas, servers, and cashiers. - Train new employees on service standards, POS systems, and café procedures. - Schedule shifts and manage daily staffing needs to maintain efficiency.
3. Operations Management - Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring all checklists are completed. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including dining and service areas. - Monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and coordinate with the kitchen or management for restocking.
4. Sales and Financial Duties - Handle cash management, including balancing tills and preparing daily sales reports. - Promote menu items, specials, and loyalty programs to increase sales. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
