Hotel/Motel Front Desk Staff
MISSION
Welcome Guest at Hotel with a positive and caring attitude.
Be hospitable at check in and check out.
To greet and register guests; assign rooms, issue room keys, and provide directions to rooms.
Must Be:
Personable, Pleasant and Patient, Friendly, Team Player, Professional, Responsible, and communicate with guest and staff.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to communicate with the wide variety of people.
Customer service skills and organizational skills are a must.
Well groomed and professionally dressed
Greet and check in hotel guests as they arrive with a smile.
Assign rooms to guests and issue room keys.
Provide directions to room and surrounding areas.
Keep records of room availability and guests’ accounts.
Be able to make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests.
Be knowledgeable of all hotel policies.
Collect payment upon check-in.
Answer incoming telephone calls.
Maintain front office and outside premises.
Assist with administrative duties as requested.
Will be assigned responsibilities, projects and tasks by the Front Office Manager
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing for a little period of work shift when greeting Guest.
Computer/keyboard operations
Cash register operation
Bending and light lifting (up to 30 lbs.)
Must be willing to learn.
Will be trained to meet standards of brand.
Wages: $16.50 and up
Working hours: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
8 hour shifts 4-5 days a week
