We've developed an exquisitely crafted, stand-alone studio we've named Rööm. Based on traditional Japanese and Scandinavian design, it's been specifically designed not only to be set up and taken apart if so desired, but also added onto over time. Yep, you can add room to your Rööm.
Sustainability is important to us.We salvage wildfire-scorched sugar pine trees from the Sierra, then kiln-dry and mill them to size, then craft them with mortise and tenon joinery. The frame is infilled with hemp-insulated panels and wrapped in state of the art waterproofing materials.
Our windows and doors are high quality aluminum frames for a sleek, modern aesthetic.
Our permit-free 120 sf studio sells for $49,000, excluding on-site assembly.

We also build ADU's in the $550- $600/sf range
