The surface holds plenty of history light scratches, faded pencil lines, and one small burn mark near the back edge. No lacquer or shine, just raw, handled wood with a soft, matte feel.
It stands about 29 inches high, the top measuring close to 30 by 30 inches. The legs taper gently and are fixed into the apron with old wooden dowels, still snug and steady.
One leg has a faint twist if you look from a low angle, but there’s no wobble. The underside shows a few original tool marks, possibly from when it was cut by hand.
The table is quiet in its design no drawer, no embellishment. Just a square and four legs, built with care and meant to be used.
