We cleaned the air intake filter and replaced the internal alarm battery. We re-seated and lock-site tightened the nut that secures the intake port to the exterior of the body. It was loose as is common on these models, and makes it clumsy/difficult to remove the hosing for replacement/cleaning. Our repair is a SeQual Mod and the port will not come loose again. The battery took charge and lasted for about 2 hours at 02LM (2 liters permute). Sooner or later the battery will need replacing but will suffice for the short term. The battery alarm alerts every 5 minutes or so when the unit has become detached from the household plug (house current). This reminds the user they have started to use battery power. The alarm can be disarmed but we advise against it. the following is the online User's manual for the Eclipse 3. This online manual can be downloaded and printed in your home if a hard-copy is preferred. If the consigner for whom we are selling this unit can locate the original manual that came with this unit, we will provide it free of charge. Frankly, we use online manuals and online schematics/repair-manuals almost exclusively these days for easy of storing and quick retrieval. It's almost impossible to lose an online manual...almost, LOL. We sell many things through our consignment store but we just happened to have some experience with concentrators and combined with our Hvac experience, we are very comfortable with selling this unit knowing it is in very good condition and will provide the next user with reliable service. AGAIN: If the goal is to use this away from home (portable) for periods longer than 1.5 - 2.0 hours, we recommend the purchase of an additional battery.
