Tea Warehouse Associate (Monrovia)

August is a premium direct to consumer tea brand based in Monrovia, CA. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our shipping and production team full time.

This position involves packing and shipping orders, and assisting the production team as needed with packing tea for retail sale. Because August is a premium brand, warehouse work requires careful attention to detail, manual skill, and the endurance to maintain high quality standards every day. Responsibilities:

• Operate particle filling machine and heat sealer safely while producing finished product that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Follow all food safety and quality control standards
• Maintain a neat and sanitary work area
• Participate in monthly stock counts
• Follow and carry out verbal and written instructions from managers
• Attention to detail and surroundings is a must
• Ability to work seamlessly as part of a team as well as independently
• A multi-tasker in a moderately paced environment that can meet daily and weekly production goals
• Work in a standing position with both hands in constant motion
• Comfortable lifting loads of up to 60-90 lbs
• Pick, Pack, and ship orders as needed
• Prior warehouse experience preferred
• ShipStation experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required. We use Slack as our team communication app.

Details & Compensation:

• $18/hr, hourly
• Full time, 30-40hrs / week, usually 8am-3pm
