Description:
A loving family in Arcadia is looking for an educated, warm, and energetic nanny to care for their bright 3-year-old daughter. The child is highly active and curious and loves exploring new toys, music, and learning experiences. She has a remarkable memory and is currently learning Mandarin. Mom is a stay-at-home mom who just needs a little extra support so she can get things done throughout her day. However, she is a hands-on parent and prefers to drive the nanny and her little one. They reside in a spacious home with ample room for activities and educational materials and would love a nanny who enjoys incorporating education and learning into daily play. The family highly values encouragement, warmth, and respect. Their ideal candidate is someone who can keep up with a toddler's boundless energy and is passionate about child development.
Responsibilities include:
Engage the child in interactive play, incorporating educational activities and materials to support her development.
Be creative, create learning opportunities, and keep this active child engaged through books, pretend play, arts & crafts, and outdoor time.
Supervise outdoor play, visits to the local library, Kidspace, and scheduled playdates.
Prepare meals and snacks for the child, including basic finger foods, bottle prep, and toddler-safe foods.
Follow bedtime routine including bath, pajamas, reading/singing, and cuddling.
Assist with basic household tasks related to childcare, including cleaning baby bottles, tidying the child’s room, and doing the child’s laundry.
Style the child’s hair in cute, age-appropriate hairdos.
Eat when the child eats to model healthy habits.
