This is an early two thousands model made in Latvia. Mic-Type wise, it's a large-diaphragm studio condenser. Operationally, it's in perfect working condition, as well as cosmetically being in "like new" condition. Due to some "Feature overlap" with recent additions to my collection, I've decided to let it go.
Features at a glance:
1. 50 ohms of impedance give the mic plenty of power, helping it carry sound across large auditoriums when being used
live.
2. The Dragonfly also features a sleek stand for easy placement and a secure hold when recording with it, as well as being released from its stand for handheld convenience.
3. Additional versatility is also available via the Dragonfly's innovative swivel-ball head, allowing rotation of close to 180 degrees in either direction
4. Transformerless design, which means that it's very tolerant of long or high‑capacitance cables.
5. Externally polarised capacitor microphone, employing a solid‑state, discrete FET‑based Class‑A head amplifier.
6. 48V phantom power supply, but draws a modest current of 3mA. Maximum SPL capability is a very respectable 132dB for 0.5 percent THD.
