condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Minolta
the original 70-200 f/2.8 for Sony! Made by Minolta for the original Sony A mount. this one comes with the Sony LA-EA3 adapter so will work with any Sony E mount camera. Which allows for auto focus and iris control of the lens via any modern Sony camera. Auto Focus works great in stills mode, sadly not available for video mode on newer cameras such as a7C2 or FX6. for video, must use manual focus mode. but for stills, works great.

the lens features three programmable buttons, AF/MF toggle switch, DMF switch, and full focus switch.

features SSM & APO so the lens renders really nice images along with the vintage Minolta glass which has a bit of a cult following nowadays.

Would love to hold onto, but i do need AF for video for an upcoming project. So have to swap this one out.

Would love to trade for an E mount version or even a 16-35 f/4 PZ lens.

nice thing is if you're into the older minolta lenses, you'll get the A to E adapter with this setup.
