The UFM144 UHF Filter and Amplifier Module from Lectrosonics improves performance when the antenna for a wireless system is mounted remotely, or its signal is distributed to multiple receivers in a multichannel system.
The unit features ceramic resonator filters to provide input filtering with a 144 MHz bandwidth in the 470 to 614 MHz range, helping to reduce intermodulation issues and prevent overload. To compensate for signal loss, a GaAsFET RF amplifier boosts the signal by 12 dB. Jumpers are provided to attenuate the boost by 0, -4, and -7 dB to precisely compensate for the losses incurred from the splitter and cable combination used in the system.
+27 dBm (input) and +41 dBm (output) third-order intercept
Switching regulator for 8-16V power at constant power dissipation to minimize heat
Jumpers set gain at +5, +8, or +12 dB
Powered from external DC source or DC bias from Lectrosonics multicouplers and Venue Series receivers
