Custom Calstar 970 with reel seat and chrome boat guides. Has previous owners name...paired with a Daiwa Sealine 30X filled with 65 lb white braid. Both are used with cosmetic scuffs and scratches but in good mechanical condition, ready to fish. The 970 is a good all around boat rod for anything you might hook on local 1/2 to 2 day trips...rated for 15-40...I like it to fish 20, 25, or 30 lb topshots to flyline for yellowtail, white seabass, schoolie sized tuna like that 20-40 lb grade tuna. You can even use it to fish rockfish or bottom grabbers as well. Daiwa Sealine X is an excellent freespooling reel for finesse presentations of live sardines or throwing small jigs like colt snipers and flat falls, megabait. Its used but works great.
