Looking for someone with journalism/PR background for part-time work (about 15 hours/week) as assistant to Senior Executive. Duties: producing media monitoring reports; taking notes on phone calls; research using media-centric databases; knowing and using social media; creating media lists; taking press requests; drafting initial press releases and media materials; sending finalized press releases; some logistics (arranging travel, meetings); and occasionally accompanying Executive on client visits. Availability on demand is necessary but most of the time, work hours are flexible. Ideal candidate is someone who has been a reporter or PR exec who seeks a change of lifestyle while keeping a hand in the industry. He or she needs to be mature, responsible, punctual, a good writer with work samples and a keen copy editor. Moms, seniors/retirees welcome! Most work can be done at home, with facetime meetings required about once a week.
