Mature woman seeking a live-in ranch hand position with compensation. Seeking a long-term arrangement.
I have 7 years of full-time, live-in ranch hand experience supporting and managing a farm, an array of animals, and an on-site family, 24/7. My responsibilities included feeding, grooming, and bathing a wide variety of farm animals, property management and maintenance, transportation support, meal preparation and grocery shopping for the family, housekeeping, errands, childcare (nanny), as well as assistance with day-to-day life and basic financial tasks. I lived on the farm and provided consistent around-the-clock support as needed.
I have worked with and around a multitude of animals ranging from horses, sheep, goats, pigs, cattle, birds / poultry, deer, alpaca, dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and small mammals. I am comfortable with long-term in-home, farm, and animal assistance and support.
I am currently based in Northridge, CA and am open to live-in arrangements depending on geographical distance, the level of farm and animal care required and the environment provided.
I have a current, valid California driver license and I am comfortable using my vehicle for various tasks. I own an old, large truck, so please have parking for me. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: I have an animal companion -- a West of England Tumbler Pigeon. She's trained, friendly, quiet, and low maintenance. She is my sole responsibility and I am meticulous about caring for her and cleaning up after her. She's an indoor bird.
