About The Position/Job Responsibilities
Meridian Design Build is looking for an individual to perform full charge bookkeeper duties. The bookkeeper will be responsible for providing basic accounting for the organization including; invoice and payable & amp; receivable processing, General Ledger entries, reconciliations, and review.
Job Requirements
Manage daily accounting activities related to GL accounting, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and fixed assets
Perform monthly bank and credit card account reconciliations and daily store sales audits
Prepare general journal entries and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
Enter account receipts from various sources such as credit cards processors, checks and cash
Assist in preparation of various tax reporting requirements
Communicate and resolve accounting discrepancies with vendors
Assist with other duties as needed such as answering phones
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years RECENT experience, performing full-charge bookkeeper duties
Previous use of QuickBooks is a must requirement
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Ability to follow instructions as directed
