Beautiful scientific field study - water color drawing of a flower - Scientific Botanical illustration
I believe it was my great grandmothers that loved plants & flowers and studied them.
Circa - 1920's - 1940's
I think this antique watercolor is of a Lilivan Speciosom Lily flower from Japan.
Rare find as such drawings are usually found in books or archived and are not displayed as art.
