We have a collection of fine art photographic works by local artist BarbaG. This consists of (20) exhibition grade, framed 16x20" images, from the "Die Meisters von Cudahy" series, which were produced between 1978-1980, in Southern CA. These environmental portraits have been shown previously. The series documents a number of unique individuals, many being artists, or other creatives, in their own right. Obsessive collecting, alternative lifestyles, and unusual assemblages of objects are some of the major tropes / themes explored. All of these were captured in residential (as opposed to purely commercial) settings. Some of these subjects are now rather well-known, especially in the general Los Angeles region. An additional ten (10) images, from this project, are available, although these have not been printed, or otherwise duplicated. These exist only as 4x5" positive film transparencies, and which could be captured, via a pro-level scanner, such as Imacon. Collectors, historians, gallerists, art faculty, photographers, designers, and students of the "punk rock" era may well be intriqued, by these works. Related text documents, intended to accompany these visual images, are also readily available. At present, these are in the form of laminated plastic "menus', not unlike those employed in restaurants. Please note: these images are copyrighted, by BarbaG, the artist, with all rights reserved, and that any unauthorized duplication is hereby prohibited. call: Three one zero nine56seven172
