Very cute “atomic” style TUBE record player from 1957. Extremely rare and desirable by collectors.
RCA Victor invented the 45rpm record and these players have a great automatic playing function to cycle through a stack of 45’s. No other record player company does it better.
Can play LP’s and 78’s as well.
Has a desirable Sonotone 8ta red cartridge wired to MONO. Safe for any year record. Brand new needle.
Two 12” speakers and two tweeters make a very good sound and amp can get loud.
These consoles have a desirable flat top so u can put decorations on top. Most consoles open from top and it makes it an unusable piece of furniture. The record player comes out like a drawer, very cool.
In conclusion, u get a ‘57 jukebox that will decorate any room with its retro looks for a fraction of the cost. What fun!
Needs to be addressed:
Amp was serviced by a professional within the past ten years but there is a ground hum.
Should by an easy fix. The top of record player is not in the best shape, my kids would set drinks on it and it developed water rings. But the cool part is u can cover this with a decorative thing and u don’t see it.
