Antique Union Case, made of thermoplastic material, that has the top cover depicting a mother, child with a cat and dogcat, the bottom lid displaying 3 children at play with their toys. Inside are 2 "photos", I believe to be either ambrotypes or tintypes, of a man and woman, presumably husband and wife.The upper inside lid has a decorative velvet cushion. There are very minimal chips on some corners which are difficult to show in photos. The case closes smoothly and hinges are intact. This case is listed in the reference "Nineteenth Century Photographic Cases and Wall Frames" by Paul Berg, 1995, 1-48 and 1-49. Cash only and local pick-up in West Los Angeles.
