Antique bone trocar, 19th century, used for draining fluid. The cap on top screws off and inside is the cannula. The body screws apart to reveal the needle that inserts into the cannula. The number 4 can be seen on the body of the trocar. There is a split in the bone which does not impact the integrity of the trocar. A rare medical/surgical item. Cash only and local pick-up in West Los Angeles.
