Rare dated silver lancet etui with 2 lancets. The top of the case is inscribed: "A Pledge of Friendship from Dr. Ingersoll Nov. 12th 1830". On the side of the cap, is inscribed: "Dr. Thomas Cock". There are 4 spaces for lancets, 2 lancets are present, one signed Evans London, the other Laundy. One side of the hinge is loose and the hinge is delicate. etui closes properly.
