Two antique quack medicine bottles: 1. "Dr. Pierce's Anuric Tablets for Kidneys and Backache" in embossed lettering with an embossed kidney. Bottle is 3.5 inches high. These types of preparations often contained opium and/or alcohol and quinine. Blown glass in mold with small bubbles. 2. Neuralgic Anodyne by Twitchell Champlin & Co. (located in Portland Maine). According to my research, this would have contained 75% alcohol and 8/10 grain of opium in each ounce. Used for headaches, neuralgia, etc.. Blown glass, small imperfection or chip in lip. 6 1/8 inch high. Cash only
