Ultra Rare ultra cool HI FI TEECO Model 915 tube amplifier and matching AM FM tuner in very clean working condition.

This set came with an antique record cabinet i am also selling - feel free to check my other listings to see the cabinet - it is truly a work of art in amazing condition and possibly the only one left on the planet !

Ideally i am hoping to find someone to buy the record cabinet and this Teeco stereo set all together - but willing to let the Teeco amp and tuner set go separately for $500.

Plugged in and tested today the radio plays loud and clear !

Has 5 tubes

1 X EZ 81 - Amperex ' made in england '

2X EL 84 - Telefunken ' made in germany '

2X 12AX7 - Unknown they are covered

The cabinet also came with a turntable as seen in pictures but it is a different brand and i am NOT willing to separate it from the cabinet or sell it separately by itself.

Thanks for the interest hope that is all clear and makes sense.

The Teeco Model 915 amplifier and its matching tuner, as seen in your image, are indeed considered quite rare within the realm of vintage audio equipment, particularly compared to more widely known brands like Heathkit or Fisher.

Here's why they can be considered rare:
Lesser-known Brand: Teeco was not a mainstream, high-volume producer of audio equipment, making their surviving pieces less common than those from larger manufacturers.

Age and Survival Rate: As vintage tube-based equipment, fewer units would have survived the decades compared to solid-state alternatives or more robustly built units from higher-end brands.

Limited Production: The exact production numbers for Teeco models are difficult to ascertain, but it's likely they were produced in smaller quantities than their more prominent competitors.

Collector Interest: While not as highly sought after as some "monster receivers" or iconic tube amplifiers, the unique design and sound signature of less common brands like Teeco can attract specific collectors, further increasing their perceived rarity for those interested in niche vintage gear.

While you might find occasional listings for Teeco amplifiers or tuners on platforms like eBay or Reverb, finding a matching set like yours in good condition is even less common.

The image shows a Teeco Model 915 Hi-Fidelity Amplifier and Tuner stack, a vintage audio component system.
Key Features and Information:
Teeco Model 915 Amplifier: This unit likely features a built-in pre-amplifier, separate bass and treble controls for tone adjustment, and a selector for various phono input equalizations (LP, EUR, RIAA) to accommodate different record types. It also includes a volume control, a contour switch for three positions of contouring, and potentially a hum balance control for minimizing noise. The amplifier section suggests it's a tube amplifier, based on related search results mentioning "tube amp" and "tube integrated amp" in the context of vintage Teeco products, though this specific model's internals aren't visible.
