im looking to trade both of these trucks a 1993 f350 7.3 turbo diesel & a 1971 f100 360 w/c6 auto project for a 4x4 auto must have a/c (im in fresno). id prefer pre smog diesel or gas but if not its ok its just gotta pass the test. im partial to fords, id like a bronco, a 4.9 inline but im open to any brand as i also own chevy & dodge trucks.
the dually was built ground up for towing & the f100 is a parts complete project. im not towing much anymore & i got a first gen cummins while the dually was down which meets any towing needs. i need an auto for an extra vehicle for my wife to drive.
i have over $30k in receipts for the dually, the motor was completely rebuilt at redmans in oakhurst (see pics). shaved & ceramic coated pistons, sleeved cylinders, arp fasteners, cam, headwork. its an idi turbo w/custom powerstroke intercooler, manual zf5 w/new smf valair clutch & 3.55 eaton locker rear. its got hydroboost brakes, no computers so its a good bugout platform. mishimoto radiator, new tires & brakes, moose jr injection pump.
its not perfect but its a solid 32 year old truck that will outlive many of us. its got a tow hitch w/brake controller & turnover gooseneck ball in bed. good stereo w/bluetooth, clean interior & in cab sound deadening.
the f100 is very solid, no rust, and i have more parts than i can list, i lowered the rear with w/a hanger half flip & shackles, the rear end was rebuilt by fearless gear just like dually, its got 3.50 eaton locker for badass burnouts, i moved the fuel tank in between the frame rails with the filler in the bed.
f100 parts not installed include one wire alternator, champion radiator, hei distributor, edelbrock intake, holley carb, djm dream beams for the front, disc brakes off 1975 f100, new carpet, door/window rubber, a cpp brake booster w/proportioning valve, extra heads, 390 core, original reupholstered & a newer bench seat plus bucket seats out of obs.
