I have an old school Giant Iguana Mountain Bicycle I want to sell. Stronger and better built then the new Giant bikes. It is a great bike and rides very nice but a couple of the pulleys or jockey wheels on the derailleur are broke. The gears themselves work great and it did shift smoothly. You can either replace the one small gear or instead the derailleur, which I was told is about $20-$30. I am asking for a low price because of this slight repair.
Giant Iguana is a versatile, entry-level mountain bike. It features an aluminum or chromoly steel frame, and is designed for both on-road commuting and off-road trails, and a a good bike for developing fundamental mountain biking skills.
Wheels: 26-inch wheels, providing quick acceleration. - The Frame is Straight and the Wheels or Rims are True - no wobble.
It come with multiple gears (e.g., 21 speeds) with thumb shifters, for versatility across different terrains and inclines.
Handling: Its short wheelbase and narrow handlebars contribute to a snappy ride on uneven terrian .
It has Front and Rear hand brakes, that work well
Urban and Gravel Riding: The sturdy frame and versatile nature make it suitable for commuting, running errands, and converting into a gravel or adventure bike. The Iguana is a beloved classic and a great choice for riders looking for a simpler, engaging ride with historical significance.
