When my son attended UCSB a few years ago, all his roommates got their shinny new bikes stolen. Like EVERY semester. Our solution - find an old rusty bike, but fix up the brakes gears, derailer and chain. The result - it rode great and never got stolen. It has since sat in my garage or shed, and it's time to go. I rode it yesterday and it works great. I throw in a helmet if you're nice.

Cash or Venmo only. Pickup in Redondo Beach. Front tire isn't quick release, so either have a bike rack or SUV.
