Never worn! Still has the sticker on the bill!
As you might recall, the 2006 Rose Bowl should have featured Penn State and USC, seeing as it was only through the ever-cheating officials who regularly fix games in the aptly-named BIG HOUSE, that Michigan was able to have time added to the game clock so that they could score their final touchdown against the Nittany Lions.
Oh, and for those who would suggest that an undefeated Texas should have won out against an undefeated Penn State in being chosen to play the #1-ranked USC, just remember that the only team played by both Penn State and Texas that season was Ohio State, and that Penn State won its game against OSU by a larger margin than did Texas...
Bottom line? Had the game been played between USC and PSU, win or lose, the Nittany lions would have captured yet another national championship, once USC's season was forfeited due to the nefarious machinations of Mr. Bush & Friends.
Of course USC fans will always focus on the game as being Reggie Bush's last as a Trojan player, none of whom, by the way, should have been allowed to play in the NC game in the first place due to the team's numerous engagements in illegality. That being said, they should also recollect that it featured an overly-hyped game MVP and winner of Texas' Uncle Rico Lookalike Award, but in the end was simply a spectacle that was, more than anything, merely a confirmation of what everyone now knows, i.e., that college football is just as crooked as the NFL.
