This is the 4th time ive posted my dream classic muscle car for sale since covid, just hit another wall on getting it finished and for the right price im willing to let it go and take a loss, got over $100k in it at this point, FOR A SERIOUS CHEVY MAN OR CLASSIC COLLECTOR. WOULD MAKE A GREAT FATHER & SON/DAUGHTER PROJECT The first 3 times i posted it for sale i changed my mind and got more progress made, but i dont have the time to make any progress and its been 7 years. First off paid $24k for this real first year Camaro RS SS396 L78 when it was a rust bucket roller no engine no trans, just stock 12bolt rear end. Paid $25k for body work and wet sand show quality paint job with receipts, dropped another $20k for a ZERO MILES crate engine LS3/480(hot cam) around 525hp easy with bolt ons and a ZERO MILES 4L75E from jegs($20k combined engine & trans with the corvette accessory drive kit and torque converter) its full bolt on hooker longtube headers,fast LSXR manifold, MSD coil packs and wires, MSD fuel rails, HOLLY new gas tank, had moser rebuild the 12bolt rear end with eaton truetrac dif 3.55 gears around $5k, had hotchkis drop there brand new upgraded sub frame $15k, and stage 2 track suspension fully adjustable front and rear shocks, adjustable front and rear sway bars, hooker 3inch black heart exhaust $2k, i bought upgraded wider rally rims i believe 8 or 9inch wide, along with all new chrome front n rear bumpers, rally rim chrome rings and center caps, side view mirrors, fully brand new wilwood disc brakes 6piston front 4piston rear, wilwood brake booster and master cylinder. I spared no expense as this was intended to be a track capable high horsepower show car, i have paper and email receipts for all parts and work done. Really dont want to let it go as i havent even got to roll over the cammed LS3 not even once to hear that chop, but i have my first car still my 96 impala that im more attached to as ive actually drove and worked on it and learned alot about cars with it, i upgraded it as well and only need to swap the engine. Sad to let her go but i know anyone whos buying it for this price will be finishing the project and taking good care of her. I know japan, australia, and some european countrys have big time american car collectors that would love to have this beauty. I have alot of photos but heres some to show the progress i made on it, needs interior to complete the car but has the stock two front bucket seats as of now, ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE PAINT HAD A BUBBLE ON THE SPOILER THAT BUSTED SO THAT HAS TO BE TOUCHED UP, AND ANOTHER BUBBLE OVER THE DRIVERS SIDE ROOF THATS HASNT BUSTED YET. other than that i still havent even washed the car since it came back from body work and paint in 2019, (its been stored under weather proof car cover and that will come with the car) but rest of paint is still great. I have all the chrome trim to be installed, the holley terminator X max ecm, the whole car wiring kit, i had stock dash pulled out and had the new dash that has A/C welded in, upgraded it to electric windows, dakota digital dash all this like another $5k. Still has stock firewall plate with options code ITS A REAL RS SS 396 L78 It is clean title as well so no worries there. Hope she finds a good home, just have to cut my losses and focus on my impala for now and get a LS swap in that. Ill get another 67 camaro in the future. No delivery youll have to tow it home.
