2006 Bentley Continental GT – Charcoal Grey Beauty | 78K Miles | W12 Power
This car needs some work “see below”
I have owned it for 2 years, its been a great car,
I upgraded the rims to 21" from a 2016, tires are practically new Pirelli's,
I have replaced the front shocks and stuts,
I have upgraded the entertainment system an appleplay. Kenwood
The AC blows ice cold
This is the cheapest Bentley Continental GT in the USA. Your gain is my loss, heres why:
The car was running fine up to last week, It starts and fires on all 12 cylinders, it does not smoke, I am not a mechanic, I have asked my mechanic and he can not say for sure without dropping the engine, however it appears to have blown either an oil pump gasket, or has a PCV / Breather Failure (Most Likely). heres why:
• The Bentley W12 has a complicated breather/oil separator system under the intake.
• When it fails, crankcase pressure has nowhere to go → it pushes oil:
• Up through valve covers (oil at top of engine).
• Into intake tract → exhaust (oil smoke or dripping).
• The fact that the car still starts fine supports this: compression isn’t lost, the engine just can’t “breathe” properly.
It will most likely need the engine dropped to access this, I will be happy to have it towed up to 100 miles, my price is firm, I am not a dealer or a mechanic, I just need to sell it. It has a salvaged title from a rear end accident that was minor with no structural damage.
