First and foremost - if you start your message with "is this still available" I will assume you're a scam bot and won't respond. If it's listed, it's available. Simple.
Now on to the car.. Perfectly running, driving, shifting, stopping, rust free sorted car ready to be driven daily for a long, long time. Tremendous drivetrain. '84 Black on Palomino Turbo Diesel w123 sedan with 196k miles and counting. Title is CA, clean, clear, in my name currently registered, ready to go. For those who are unaware - there is no emissions testing requirement for this car (pre-1997 Diesels).
I’ll mention things this car has that most others in this price range do not.
*Ice cold AC
*All windows and sunroof work
*Great seats without broken springs and busted cushions. Few surface cracks in the upholstery but none cracked through.
*Rust free body
*All body trim present
*Tight shifter, all new bushings
*New Driveshaft carrier, bearing
*All gauges work. Odometer and trip meter turn. Tach and clock work. Oil gauge doesn't leak.
*Power antenna works
*No broken seatbelt buckles
All that said I didn’t fix everything as I wanted to keep the car somewhat affordable to most. Inop:
*Vacuum central locking. Quote to fix $300-$500
*Cruise control. Quote to fix $200-$400
Keep in mind pics make it look a bit better than it is. Though body is overall great and rust free with some minor dings, driver door is kind or crunched up. Doesn't come through well in pics but you'll see in person. It's not all that bad, but if it bothers you it could be fixed with body work or I can include a straight driver door with the car so you can swap it (though different color thus would need to be painted). Paint is great where it's not faded. But on trunk lid it's severely faded and to a lesser degree on the roof. All that said, as it is a great car, it is not a show car as it sits. It has that potential, But right now it is a great all around entirely rust free perfectly running and driving sorted car ready to be daily driven, very presentable and good looking, even with a few dings and dents and paint issues here and there. Again, don’t expect a garage queen in this price range.
Last but not the least. I don't negotiate on price of the cars I revive. Best case scenario I am breaking even at this price after putting in 3 months of work and thousands in parts. If you're looking for a non-runner / project that will need a lot of time and money before it is daily driver ready then I am sure you can pick one up for $2-$3k. But that ain't this car. So please respect all the blood sweat tears and money i've put into this one so you don't have to ... and you aren't willing/able to pay the asking price, just look for a different car.
