💛 About the Role:
We’re looking for a super-organized, compassionate, and fun-loving Assistant Director who can help lead our preschool team while keeping our classrooms filled with joy, creativity, and safety. You’ll work alongside the Director to support staff, maintain licensing compliance, and ensure our “Little Ones” continue to grow, learn, and thrive.

✨ What You’ll Do:
• Support teachers and staff with daily operations, curriculum, and scheduling.
• Create an engaging, loving, and structured environment for children to explore and learn.
• Communicate with parents, staff, and the community — always with warmth and professionalism.
• Help maintain compliance with licensing regulations and state requirements.
• Step into the classroom when needed — because leaders lead by example (and sometimes by singing Baby Shark).

🎓 Required Qualifications:
• 12 core semester units in Early Childhood Education/Development
• 3 semester units in Administration or Staff Relations
• 4 years of teaching experience in a supervised group child care center
OR one of the following alternatives:
• A degree in Child Development, plus 3 units in Administration and 2 years teaching experience
• A BA in Child Development, plus 3 units in Administration and 1 year teaching experience
• A Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or Program Director Permit
• Meets School-Age Director requirements per Health and Safety Code Section 1597.21
