Schedule: Three days a week, after school
Position Overview:
I am. seeking a dedicated, experienced tutor to support and guide my two children, aged 13 and 9. The successful candidate will be responsible for school pick-up, organizing homework, and providing academic support across various subjects. This role requires someone who is engaging, knowledgeable, and comfortable working with teenagers and young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up children from school three days a week (I will be home always, work from home)
- Organize and plan daily homework and study sessions
- Provide academic support and tutoring in subjects as needed
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about progress and any concerns
- Encourage good study habits and time management skills
Qualifications:
Proven experience in tutoring or educational support for children and teens
College education - OK if currently in college
Strong academic background with the ability to support multiple subjects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, organized, and punctual
Enthusiastic about working with children and teenagers
Clean driving record, valid drivers license and insurance
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with curriculum standards for middle school children
Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles
Patience and understanding in working with teens
