The Entry Level Energy Engineer/Analyst will perform all aspects of facility surveys, energy analysis and energy modeling as part of an energy consulting team. Our clients include real estate owners, utility companies, program administrators, business owners, architects, and product providers. The successful candidate will work with associates and management to pursue and execute various projects involving the analysis, verification, design, and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

Under direction of Management and Sr. Engineering staff, work on components of level I, II, III energy audits per ASHRAE standards and whole-building energy modeling of multiple asset types including k-12, institutional, apartment, office, industrial, medical, and retail
Conduct components of feasibility analysis of renewable energy generation projects for real estate applications
Work with associates, sales staff, energy engineers, and sub-contractors to conduct energy audits, energy modeling, and project implementation
Execute project tasks on time and with technical proficiency
Attend internal and external meetings as required
Maintain target utilization rate
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and company mission, vision and values
Timely response to client e-mail and phone messages
Work effectively with the team

Bachelors' Degree in Engineering
Master's Degree in Engineering is a plus
EIT a plus

Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
Excellent math and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat & Reader
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated interest in the energy efficiency and sustainability fields.
Demonstrate basic knowledge in technical subject matter such as:
Energy analysis of building systems, including HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, variable speed drive applications
Building Automation Systems
Building Envelop
Lighting Systems
Energy modeling using programs such as eQuest, Energy Pro, and Energy Plus

Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
Travel 25%
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Ability to work outdoors and in unconditioned mechanical rooms on occasion
