Live IN Executive Housekeeper
Location: Brentwood
Schedule: 5 Days/Week | Live-In | Typically 7:30 AM – After Dinner
Compensation: $40–$50/hour DOE + Paid Time Off + Benefits
A family in Brentwood is seeking a professional and experienced Live IN Executive Housekeeper to help manage and care for their 10,000-square-foot private residence. This is a live-in position, working alongside two long-term team members in a respectful and supportive environment. The new hire will be trained by the current Executive Housekeeper, who has been in the role for 20 years and will be departing on October 1st. The family is kind and welcoming, and they are hoping to find someone who will be a long-term fit. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, dependable, and confident taking the lead when needed. They must pay close attention to detail and have a strong eye for presentation. This person should be a team player who takes pride in their work and is committed to caring for the home as if it were their own.
Key Responsibilities
-Oversee and maintain household operations with an emphasis on laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
-Coordinate and liaise with vendors (e.g., dry cleaners, repair technicians)
-Run errands including grocery shopping and dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up
-Prepare simple meals or dinner prep (bonus skill, not required)
-Handle daily tidying, organization, and upkeep of common areas (heavy cleaning is handled by other staff)
-Load/unload dishwasher, clean out refrigerator, rotate pantry items
-Water indoor plants and assist with light garden harvest (e.g., picking herbs and tomatoes)
-Provide pet care for one large, friendly dog; occasional care for visiting family pets
-Ensure the home is guest-ready at all times
-Be available to house-sit and manage the property during the principal's travel
-Travel occasionally to other family properties in the U.S. as needed
Ideal Candidate
-Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed
-Experienced in household management and executive housekeeping
-Excellent with laundry, ironing, and organization
-Comfortable cooking or prepping simple meals (preferred but not required)
-Dog-friendly and comfortable with visiting children and family pets
-Able to use an alarm system and manage a smart home environment
-Possesses a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for errands
-Presents professionally and takes pride in their work
-Able to handle emergencies with a calm, logical approach
-Values cleanliness, routine, and teamwork
Schedule & Living Accommodations
5 days per week (Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday)
-Must be available from 7:30/8:00 AM through dinner time (with breaks during the day)
-Live-in accommodations include a private bedroom and bathroom
-Ideal candidates will be flexible and available to stay overnight while principal is away
Compensation & Benefits
$40–$50/hour DOE - On payroll
2 weeks paid time off

Holidays may be required; if so, the household team rotates coverage to ensure fairness and time off is shared
