At Stanley’s Wet Goods, we care a lot about the source of our products. For our wine selection, we know the location, soil type, cellar practices, and sometimes even the names of the winemaker's family members. This same care goes into our food menu. We take the time to source thoughtfully - proximity, organic, fresh, sustainably packaged. We are not a full-service restaurant, but our food is scratch-made and a wonderful complement to our exquisite wine & beer list. We’re looking for people who care as much as we do to help us in this noble pursuit.

We are willing to train the right candidate, provided they have strong attention to detail and can work efficiently, but some prior kitchen experience is preferred. Our kitchen is small, so you must be able to work well alone, executing orders to spec in a short period of time.
Must be available to work weekdays and weekends until 5pm with the possibility ofc night shifts.
Tasks:
Prepare the kitchen and set up for service
Follow menu instructions in preparation of dishes
Fulfill pars and communicate with other team members on low or out-of-stock items
Communicating and collaborating with the kitchen manager + other kitchen staff members
Creating off-menu dishes to keep things seasonal
Requirements:
Strong knife skills
Prior kitchen work experience
Desired but not required:
Prior experience with placing inventory replenishment orders with vendors, and any other Kitchen Manager duties.
Note: We have high standards, but also a respectful, fun, and tight-knit team to keep things calm and cool, even under pressure. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please respond to this post with a resumé and a brief cover letter explaining why you are a great fit. Please do not call the business.
We look forward to hearing from you!
