Seeking a server assistant for a fine dining restaurant in Culver City. AM and PM shifts available.
What You’ll Do
- Assist servers and food runners in delivering multi-course service with precision and timing
- Clear, reset, and polish tables according to fine-dining standards (linen alignment, glassware placement, cutlery polish, etc.)
- Anticipate guests’ needs — quietly pre-bus, replace flatware, and coordinate pacing with kitchen and service teams
- Maintain spotless side stations and service areas; fold napkins and prepare mise en place for each shift
- Restock and polish plates, glassware, and silverware throughout service
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen, and management to maintain flow and timing
What You Bring
- Prior experience in a fine-dining or upscale restaurant preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a refined sense of presentation
- Ability to carry trays and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Team-oriented attitude and calm under pressure
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Current Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
