Goodboybob Coffee Roasters is in growth mode with new locations and our headquarters on the horizon for 2026, we’re looking for an experienced, motivated Barista Trainer / Lead to help shape and elevate our next generation of baristas.
About the Role
As our Barista Trainer / Lead, you’ll float between our Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach cafés to:
-Train and mentor all new baristas, ensuring consistency and excellence across both shops.
-Collaborate with our current trainer to create a comprehensive training guide and scheduling structure.
-Lead by example on bar, setting the tone for quality, efficiency, and great energy, fantastic customer service.
-Uphold and teach our coffee standards — from espresso dialing and brew theory to latte art and guest experience.
-Contribute creatively to seasonal drinks, events, and pop-ups that showcase Goodboybob’s personality and innovation.
Who You Are
-A go-getter and early morning person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The earliest shift starts at 5am!
-A confident leader with proven training experience.
-Deeply knowledgeable about coffee — brewing methods, science of extraction, and latte art execution.
-Positive, approachable, and always leading with a coaching mindset.
-Excited about growth, community, and representing a brand that’s pushing specialty coffee forward.
