Vintage 1970's Italian Dinnerware from the Amalfi Coast of Italy. There are Beautiful Colorful Designs on this set of "Countryside Pulcino" that has been Hand Painted with Lead-Free Enamels at Ceramica Artistica Solimene where the family has worked for over a century. When Vincenzo Solimene decided in 1954 that they needed a new building for their Headquarters and Factory in Vietri Sul Mare, he asked the famous Architect, Paolo Soleri to design it for him and it became one of the "most significant architectures of the 20th Century." Solimene Artistic Ceramics is world famous and exports all over the world. Here are 31 pieces in total. (1) 16" Oval Platter, (12) 8" Plates, (12) Coffee Cups, (5) 12" Dinner Plates, and (1) 8 1/2" Water Pitcher.
