Vintage Hawaiian Pen and Ink Watercolor with great subject matter. This is original and one of a kind. It's a Hukilau. "A hukilau is a way of fishing invented by the ancient Hawaiians. The word comes from huki, meaning pull, and lau, meaning leaves. A large number of people, usually family and friends, would work together in casting the net from shore and then pulling it back." Very nice visual painted by Lisa Nikoli of Hawaii. Not sure on the date but it appears from the 60's or earlier. Framed and Matted nicely to go with the Hawaiian theme.
