The '60s / '70s incredibly swirled, egg shaped shade is wonderful in every way, and is one of the most sought after Murano designs. The lamp shade is in excellent condition with no damage or wear, and comes with its equally gorgeous brass base!
HI don't know who the desgner was, but here's a similar spiral pieee by Carlo Nason for Mazzega:

The heavy brass base is 10' in diameter. The shade is 16" in diameter, and again, there are no chips or scratches!
By the way, the white fixture threads into its counterpart located within the brass tube. (It was simply unscrewed for the picture.)
