This lovely armchair is an exceptionally great piece of furniture! It is a work of art! It takes you to an era of fine artistry in furnishings, allowing you a retreat to savor the air of lavish style and excellence. At least that's the way I feel around it.

This 1940s vintage shield back arm chair is a classic piece of furniture known for its elegant design and high-quality craftsmanship. This style with a shield-shaped back features an exquisitely carved or pierced design,
with intricate details lsuch as the inlay urn with floral accents, further down a sort of clocklike oval designs. The inlay art runs throughout the shield back. The chair is made of gorgeous hardwood and features tapered legs that boast of carved feet. The light aqua upholstery is in excellent condition and the seat consist of what looks like a pillowed seat.
This is high end quality carpentry, sturdy and stable. The finish of the wood is perfect and smooth. The handles and legs are carved as well.
Use it with your desk. Set it right next to a window to catch the light in its silhouette or in a corner with a side table.
