Antique smoking stands generally date from the late 19th century (around the 1890s) through the mid-20th century (stopping around the 1970s), with their peak popularity in the 1930s. As for this particular piece, I don't know its exact age, but I'd wager that it is at least 100 years old.
Just look at the mother of pearl inlays on the face of the cabinet door!
It is a little bit dusty, there is a straight separation running along the top (that could be easily glued and then clamped together), and it has some minor cosmetic blemishes, but a wipe down with a little bit of polish, and a Brillo scrub of the metal lining, and it'll look absolutely beautiful in your office and/or man cave.
*****Please weed tobacco out of your life if you have a chronic cough, and be on high alert if a good bud or buds urges you to quit, because it is of the utmost importance to T.H.C. (Target Health Concerns).
