The lamp sat in a house from the 50's in the Palos Verdes. It is very clean, well cared for! It was treasured and now can be an heirloom for your family as well. If you are accustomed to the best, this lamp is for you.
It sits best on a hallway credenza or on top of a desk, vanity or table. This lamp would soften the mood in any room. No gouges, no nicks, nothing to repair. Everything is in working order. There are 2 ways to turn it on; under the bulb or at the feet of the mademoiselle.
