Pair of matching vintage teak, circa 1950s, Finn Juhl Model 137 "Japan" chairs. First designed in 1957 and manufactured in Denmark by France and Son. Elegant brass joinery that contrasts beautifully with the fine teak grain.. Both retain the green metal badge which indicates late 1950s production. These chairs predate the models imported by John Stuart in the 1960s. Both also retain Made In Denmark stamps. Exquisite, seafoam green patterned, wool fabric with no rips or stains. Sturdy and firm, with no breaks or repairs to the, solid old slow growth, teak frames. These gorgeous Finn Juhl Japan chairs are turnkey ready for your MCM home, office, photo shoot or film set.
