I’ve had these two brothers for years, but unfortunately, I have to rehome them due to my new job. Both males grew up together and are very friendly, each with their own unique personalities. Herbert, the smaller male, is by far the friendliest tortoise I’ve ever met. He follows me everywhere and is constantly curious about our activities. He even waits for hours by the glass patio door, looking into the house to watch us. Berto, the larger brother, is also very charismatic but tends to be more shy. They primarily eat Timothy hay, but I supplement their diet with lettuce and other greens. They currently weigh around 50-60 pounds each and are likely over 15 years old. I want to ensure that they find the right home with a spacious yard. These tortoises grow much larger and require ample space to thrive. They’re personable pets, and I want to make sure they go to someone who can dedicate the time to care for them.
