My organic collard green plant is way to large and I am going to cut some stocks off and thought I would sell them for a great price.
Collard Greens are Very Easy to Grow! Place the stock about 4-6 inches deep into soil - dirt - a pot or in the ground and within a few weeks, the stock will start putting out new roots and new leaves. There as easy to grow as a succulent.
Collard greens can be a beneficial addition to a weight loss diet due to their low-calorie and high-nutrient content. One cup of cooked collard greens contains only 49 calories while providing a great source of vitamins A, C, and K, as well as calcium, good source of iron, vitamin B-6, and magnesium. They also contain thiamin, niacin, pantothenic acid, and choline.They are a staple in many southern and soul foods. Collard Greens are a wonderful vegetable for Vegetarians and or Vegans. Great vegetable to cook for soul food too. It can be steamed, boiled, put in stir-fries, baked in casseroles and can even be made into chips. Tortoises and chickens love it to.
