This antique handcrafted candleholder consisting of an intricate hand-painted Moorish ceramic pattern in traditional blue color combination, ornate design with hand-engraved details with fine detail embellishment. Originally purchased in a Moroccan Souk (local market) The intensity of the blue hue is a key factor. High-quality pieces often feature a deep, vibrant cobalt blue created using cobalt oxide, while cheaper versions may have a lighter, less saturated color. I have owned this piece for over 40 years.
