This is an old Bankers oak desk. It appears to be from the 1930's. The top is solid oak with a tiger oak veneer that has a very nice pattern. This was a roll top desk. See photos of roll top sides. Included are the wood slats from the roll top. Also in the bundle of slats is the end locking board that connects the roll cover. Neat to restore or us as I have for years without the roll top feature. The desk is very sturdy and well made. It disassembles into multiple pieces. This makes it easy to transport via small pick up or van. The desk top has a plastic cover so the writing surface is smooth. Thank you for your interest in this desk.
