We are seeking a dedicated Slip Sheet Equipment Operator who uses a specialized push-pull attachment to load, unload, and move goods resting on thin plastic or paper sheets rather than traditional wooden pallets.
Responsibilities
Operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery to facilitate site development activities.
Manage the operation of specialized vehicles such as concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker trucks, and farm machinery.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Assist with site preparation tasks such as grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and moving earth or debris.
Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment use efficiently across different phases of construction.
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for operational records.
